Three artists use LIGHT in their creations - photography, sculpture, and interactive installations.
About
LiTE-HAUS opens a new exhibition later this week with three artists who use LIGHT in different ways - sculpture, photography, and interactive elements.
Not only are the artworks beautiful made, they are also provocative. Each of our three rooms is a completely different environment, inspiring conversation.
Vernissage | Opening Reception: 22.Jul (Thursday) 18:00
Ausstellung | Exhibition: 22.Jul - 25. Aug, 2021
Jeremy Knowles celebrates the Berlin neighborhoods of Kreuzberg and Neukölln in his "Kreuzungen" with light boxes that reveal their images using an app.
Joachim Ramin creates sculptures in his Leipzig studio using light, aluminum, and other materials. Light is information. It changes or contradicts, reproduces or reinforces the statement and meaning of the individual or the objects and topics involved.
Sandra Blatterer uses interactive panels in her large installation "Space Is Only Noise". Here visitors can manipulate the artwork as they walk through the exhibition. She was part of the recent BBA Art Prize 2021 exhibition.
