Light and Colour - Painting the Suffolk Countryside

This course will explore the classic elements of the Suffolk countryside, heritage, light, landscape and big skies. Drawing on inspiration from Suffolk’s finest artists, past and present, we will seek out local scenes, capturing the elements that draw artists to this quintessential corner of England.

Using an impressionistic approach, we will paint the shifting light of Suffolk as it plays across fields, water and sky. 

All materials provided. Includes refreshments and a light lunch.

All Abilities with some knowledge of Oil Paints
