About

To breathe is to inspire. For anything new to come into view, we have to exhale, breathe out, let go and allow a sinking in to where we are. Once rooted in the supple connection with our own nature. We can begin to establish an intimate relationship with all things. Setting aside rules and expectations, we relax and play with possibilities. Whether you are experienced or believe you can't draw at all, you will find yourself observing and relating to the movement and the poses of the models. In this 2 day course you will be given the space to relax — physically and mentally — into a safe, pleasurable, free creative process. You will be invited to play with a range of natural materials encouraged to let each instrument; hand or feather show you its own way of drawing. As the pose touches you, you touch the paper and you touch something in yourself — it is from here that authentic drawing emerges. Rather than you doing the drawing, the drawing is done through you. Our traces of encounter are our marks on paper that can endure with vitality, a creation that is beyond time. You may be pleasantly surprised with what appears. Closing date for bookings: May 15th 2010
