You are warmly invited to an evening of talks, discussion and refreshments as we are pleased to announce Michael Carklin will be giving a talk in response to the Life Less Ordinary : Performance & Display in South African Art exhibition, which is currently open at Ffotogallery. ---------------------------------------------------------- Michael Carklin is Head of Academic Programmes at the Cardiff School of Creative and Cultural Industries, University of Glamorgan, where he teaches in theatre, performance and film. Michael grew up in Johannesburg and studied and lectured in Grahamstown, South Africa, before moving to the UK. He has a Masters degree in African Studies, specialising in African visual art and literature from the School of Oriental and African Studies at the University of London. ---------------------------------------------------------- This event is FREE.
