A GREAT WAY TO START THE YEAR: Two days, 4 sessions of life drawing. NOT TO BE MISSED. Monday 4th and Tuesday the 5th of January. 2 sessions each night, 6-8 and 8-10 - A contemporary approach to the tradition of life drawing. - Bringing elements of fashion styling to make this a unique class. - Each class will take influences from different movements in art. - 1-2-1 tutoring will be given offering tips and advice. The first class will take a look at the Art Nouveau Movement. In the class we will consider how an artist can capture the female form with sensitivity, through a style that enhances femininity and seduction. The model will be situated in a styled environment that is reminiscent of the period. the use of a selection of fashion accessories will help to add drama and detail to the composition. In the following classes, we will look at periods in art such as Pre-raphelites, Neo-Classical, Pop-art and artist such at Egon Schiele, Alfons Mucha and many others. The classes are taken by Morris, a teacher who aims to present a contemporary feel to life drawing, through composition and consideration. He will bring his experience in fashion design to create exciting forum. Accessories designed by local and international Couturiers and fashion designers will be used to style the model. The aim of the class is to develop your individual style and expression through your personal approach to drawing. Door: £6 which include a glass of wine Basic art material will be supplied.
