Liam Ryan exalts vintage vinyl covers with his mystical and playful paintings. These newly adorned pop-cultural artefacts cradle memorabilia with fantastic new possibility. Dublin born Liam broke into the artworld as an associate with the 2006 Defastenists art movement as Minister for Morality. He went on to win the prestigious Royal Dublin Society Taylor Prize for painting and to complete his MA at Byam Shaw, Central St Martins. Liam has since exhibited throughout Ireland, Berlin and London. The Residence is proud to unveil this all-new collection of works in his first solo exhibition with the gallery.
