Le Dirigeable art gallery will represent new jewellery collection by famous artist and designer Masha Trotzky.
About
Born in Moscow, Masha Trotzky started her art career in 2009, became the “Best Photographer of Russia”(2010) National Award winner, received the Silver Graphis Award in New York (2015) and Aesthetica Art Prize in UK (2015). Artist and jewelry designer, she has had solo exhibitions in Moscow, Florence, Barcelona, Hamburg, Milan and Bologna.NewsPaperWork Jewellery collection was created by Masha Trotzky in 2015 as an extension of art series of art works dedicated to the role of propaganda and news in contemporary society.
The idea is to recycle aggressive propaganda campaigns into something beautiful, creative and humane.
Jewellery was made from plastic, real Russian newspapers and covered by water-resistant lacquer.
The meeting with artist will take place on 6th of June 2018 from 19.00 to 21.30

La galerie Dirigeable présente la collection de bijoux de Masha Trotzky à Paris.
Dans sa création artistique, l’artiste belge Masha Trotzky originaire de Moscou (Graphic Silver Award 2014 au État-Unis et Aesthetica Art Prize 2015 en Grande-Bretagne) a toujours orienté sa réflexion autour des problèmes de société, des stéréotypes et des signes modernes dans le contexte de la mondialisation.
Masha a commencé à faire des bijoux en 2015.
Sa première collection "NewsPaperWork" est une protestation artistique contre la propagande de l’Etat dans les journeaux. Ce recycing vise à transformer l’agressivité en beauté. La collection est fabriquée en papier-maché et recouverte de vernis résistant à l’eau.
Une autre collection de bijoux, présentée au Dirigeable et appelée «l’Humanité », est dédiée à la plasticité des relations humaines et l’individualité de chacun. Cette collection est faite en argile polymère et chaque bijoux est une sculpture unique.
L’exposition-vente se tient au Dirigeable du 25 avril au 25 juillet 2018.
La rencontre avec l’artiste aura lieu le 6 juin 2018 de 19:00 jusqu'à 21:30.
