About

In collaboration with the Hannah Barry Gallery, we will be presenting a group show of work by emerging British sculptors in the park. Hannah Barry has previously enjoyed success with Bold Tendencies, a series of group shows on the roof of Peckham Rye multi-storey car park. Many of the artists in Let There Be Sculpture! were also included in the critically acclaimed Peckham Pavilion at the 2009 Venice Biennale. The idea for the first Bold Tendencies came from the squat-turned-artists studio and exhibition space of Bobby Dowler and Shaun McDowell; the New Art Centre exhibited Dowler's 'Allegory of Disorder II & III' in 2009. We are delighted to be working with the Hannah Barry Gallery to show sculpture by other emerging artists in the context of the panaromic grounds of Roche Court.
