Following the sold out exhibition at the National Gallery, Leonardo Da Vinci: Painter at the Court of Milan, Lydia Bauman (art historian at the National Gallery) will give an illustrated talk about the Da Vinci and his work. Lydia Bauman is a Polish born artist and art historian. She was educated in Britain, completing a BAHons in Fine Art at the University of Newcastle upon Tyne and a MA in History of Art with Distinction at the Courtauld Institute of Art, London. She has since exhibited extensively in Britain and abroad and her work is held in prestigious corporate and private collections worldwide. She has worked as art critic for BBC Radio External Services and Radio Free Europe, as well as as a translator and art history lecturer for diverse adult audiences, notably at the National Gallery, London. She is currently completing a book on the Great Themes in Art
