Left but a Trace

About

The exhibition Left but a Trace comprises works by Austrian artists Sissi Farassat and Gregor Neuerer which focus on the documentation and (in)visibility of traces and identities. Farassat's conceptual photographs evolve around self-portraits and women's bodies using photographicseries, lightboxes, film and series of sequined images to confront the audience with intimacy and a private atmosphere. In his prints and slide-projections Gregor Neuerer documents and re-draws traces of people in public and privateenvironments to explore the temporary presence of people in architectural spaces such as English terraced houses.
