This exhibition incorporates a collection of images originating from research work undertaken to investigate the deinking of paper using high-intensity ultrasound. Captured using scanning electron microscopy, they reveal in intense detail the structural composition of paper surfaces, fibres, droplets of printing ink and mineral fillers and coatings.
