About

Victoria Lucas: Lay of the Land (and other such myths)

Part of: PUSH Festival 2017 | HOME Projects

Fri 27 Jan 2017 – Sun 2 Apr 2017

Co-commissioned and curated by Mark Devereux Projects. Lay of the Land (and other such myths) is a new project and exhibition investigating connections between gender and geographical place.

This series of photographic works is the outcome of Victoria Lucas’ research excursion across the Californian Desert in 2015. Digitally rendered images re-present a cluster of giant boulders as an imaginary site for potential subversive happenings.
