Enjoy some refreshments and an evening viewing of Art in an Electric Atmosphere: The Library and Archive of Herbert Read.

This event will also include a talk with artist Stephen Sutcliffe in conversation with William Fowler, Curator of Artists' Moving image at BFI National Archive.

The exhibition explores the life of a cultural vanguard and anarchist Herbert Read through his own archive. It is guest-curated by artist Stephen Sutcliffe and arts organisation Pavilion. It displays over 165 items from Read’s archive and library.

Central to the exhibition is a new projected video work by Glasgow-based and Yorkshire-born artist Sutcliffe.
