In an economic situation where added value is everything, ethical clubbing embodies the zeitgeist have fun in a trendy atmosphere whilst all proceeds go to charity.
Last Rolo delivers just this, combining acoustic music, DJ and a private view for the ultimate in culture clubbing with a conscience, as all proceeds go straight to charity. Set in the Acquire Space, a Battersea Gallery that recently opened to rave reviews, the monthly events are a platform for talented young musicians and artists. Last Rolo provides a free showcasing opportunity in a central London Gallery and performance space. All the artwork is affordably priced, with most of the pieces at £60.
The 16th October marks the Last Rolo Launch Night, with artists Anna-Louise Felstead, Edd Horder and Astrid Harrisson confirmed for the private view from 6.30-8.30pm. Live jazz performers will be entertaining from 8.30-9pm and Dingle Yandell will be DJ from 9-11pm. Entry is free with a suggested donation on exit and beers will be £3.
The Acquire Gallery will be open on Saturday 17th from 10am until 5pm to allow visitors to view the artwork.
