Ben Langlands and Nikki Bell have been collaborating since 1978, and exhibiting internationally since the early 80s. Their diverse and multi- disciplinary practice ranges through interactive digital installations to film and video, sculpture, and full scale architecture, to explore the complex set of relationships we have with the built environment, and on a wider global level, the coded systems of circulation and exchange which surround us.
For their talk at Modern Art Oxford they will discuss recent and current projects, including Kendrew's Milestone, a new Carrara marble sculpture inlaid with lead situated in the new quadrangle at St John's College Oxford, designed by Sir Richard MacCormac.
