For this year’s Lange Nacht der Bilder the artistic community of HB55 Kunstfabrik is presented in its variety yet again. Come join and visit us Friday, October 2nd from 18-24h for a long night’s program of exhibitions, live performances and open studios.
About
Let’s bring some new life and spirit into the 7.000m2 building, where over 200 emerging visual, sound and performance artists are breaking new ground in sculpture, painting, photography, music and fashion!
Throughout the whole night you can grab some food (homemade burgers (also vegetarian) etc.) and a variety of drinks at Canteen 55.

18-22h: Open Studios
SPECIAL from 18h: can-banjo workshop with Mathieu Wateau in his studio
19h, 21h: Guided Tours
with curator Kerstin Godschalk, starting point: “L’espace de l’espèce”
20:30h: Artist Talk
by Lotte Günther in her exhibition “meander”, in which she shows paintings of vibrant colors and entwined mirror objects that immerse the former 200m2 industrial hall in a play of intersecting lines of light. Place: Margarine
from 22h: Live Performances, Place: “L’espace de l’espèce”
- Live Comic Collaboration by Rufus Dayglo and Claire Adams Ferguson
- OKO, sound performance by Aleks Slota, vocals, und Kris Barnett, drums, in an installation by Stefan Reiss. An experiment, aggressive and characterized by the desire to change, which takes up the industrial site and includes it into a total experience of visual and sound art. An environment is created in which the audience is engaged on an emotional and visceral level.
