About
This group exhibition deconstructs often overlooked colonial processes within Europe and examines current forms of belonging. It brings together a diverse range of indigenous, local, and transnational artists from northern Europe who deal with the active production of locality as lived experience. How can locality be reconceived, and who has the rights and opportunities to participate in the social and cultural design of spaces? In a variety of media, the participating artists negotiate transnational perspectives, the spirituality of nature, and a contemporary approach to Inuit and Sami traditions
