It's about trying on a hat, reading a sign, smiling and nodding, dancing in a circle and just generally wandering around the space picking things up. In order to… FEELGOOD!

A satirical look at the self help industry, FEELGOOD offer real alternative life hacks to help you live your life.
Pick up a leaflet on ‘How to be Queer in a Rural Area’, gain your ‘City Guild Qualification in Paper Mache’, watch a video tutorial on ‘How to Make Swimwear out of Bags For Life’, take part in a workshop on ‘Floating’, drop into ‘Dizzy’s Health Bar’ and enjoy a glass of Prosecco with Berroca.
L.A.L is a long term collaboration between artists Kevin Clarke & Amy Pennington, a queer-led performance/art duo who use satire and comedy to create performance, video and print. They create interactive performance environments temporarily queering the galleries, institutions & community spaces they inhabit.
The FEELGOOD centre is the culmination of a summer long research project in which L.A.L have been all over the UK doing a series of residencies working with participants and audiences at Mildmay extra care facility, Burnley After the rain LGBTQ+ youth theatre, The Outside Project, SET studios and Theatre Deli Sheffield. The work seeks to challenge power structures and question who gets to feel good, when and on what terms.
