The legacy of Ladislav Sutnar goes beyond the boundaries of the European region. Sutnar’s work had a clear impact on global cultural events. He was one of the few Czech artists to also achieve success in the USA. This exhibition will present paintings and posters which go beyond the limits of classical design until becoming almost free art. The main focus, in addition to several oils on canvas where the author experiments with geometric features in space, will also be on his famous series of women's nudes called Venus. The exhibition will present a selection of paintings and posters from public and private collections.
