About
Carey Hamblett is a multi-faceted arts practitioner who embraces the disciplines of digital imaging, scripting, writing storyboards and character design. She has worked extensively in TV, music and theatre. Hamblett also lectures in film and is currently developing feature film projects, as well as embarking upon a series of CGI projects.LA EDGE is a portrait of the city where Hamblett grew up. It is a visceral photographic journey through the shadows of towers of downtown LA. Here lies the sprawl of industry, the soul of the city embedded in asphalt, concrete, glass and steel. Carey Hamblett?s cinematic sensibility informs this chronicle of the urban landscape. A city where an ideal of sublime beauty haunts a dystopian vision of the commercial districts and industrial wastelands of the great metropolis that is Los Angeles?
