Kris Lemsalu's exhibition 4LIFE is her first solo exhibition in London. Lemsalu presents newly commissioned works across the top floor of the CCA that manifest the stages of life; from birth to death.

About

Lemsalu's ritualistic sculptural installations are assembled from a palette of visceral materials including ceramic, animal parts and pelts, fur, wool, leather, fabric and stone, alongside bought and found objects. Through her specific style of humorous and absurd storytelling, Lemsalu poses earnest questions about hierarchies of beauty and revulsion, merit and mediocrity, creating atmospheric installations that transport the visitor into a parallel heightened reality.
