This work is made from light.  To reveal the deep, maybe endless, spaces behind opaque surfaces. Sometime it’s nearly empty and sometimes teeming with everything.  Drama is key to this use of light as forms appear and dissolve, as colors clash and adjust, and the energy level is tuned to whatever comes up and is strong enough to carry the emotional insights and surprises that makes the enterprise work.  The scale is manipulated to tell stories and make scenes, for example, of genesis, or the apocalypse, or Mardi Gras.  A visual fusion of  many things, like anything nothing everything.  Going forward but looking back to the Mother-of-it-all, the Big Bang.
