Glasgow based artist Kirsty Stansfield is interested in how people relate to objects that make sound and how this uncovers forms of 'embodied knowledge' - the experiences, memories, and knowledge retained over the years and expressed through the body. She is interested in the scenarios such objects elicit and the social and cultural implications that these objects provoke between people and their physical environment.
