Kirstin Rogge's unconstrained and open-ended preoccupation with space is reflected in many of her works. The work 3D shows a random selection and number of parts, which may belong together or which may be the individual parts of a multitude of others. Every piece of the puzzle shows a part of the space, by reflecting it.
In his oil paintings, Robert Gfader deals with extensions of space and notions of space - spaces of intensity. One approach in the works is to gradually explore the relationship between the individual elements. Surface structures and not clear delimitations, but rather diffuse gradations, build up a conflicting space.
