About

Large-scale, unique prints on handmade paper reflecting U.S. artist Kiki Smith's career-long preoccupation with representations of the female body. Recycling cosmological and mythological motifs, they hold both charm and menace. A naked woman's legs fuse together to form a mermaid's tail; lurking in a cloud of silver butterflies, a wolf shows us its blood-stained claws.
