Kiera Blakey and Camilla Wills, 'part1: DANCES/DANCERS'
supercollider is pleased to announce âpart 1: Dances / Dancers' by Kiera Blakey and Camilla Wills.
At supercollider Blakey and Wills shall present the first part of a series of âmeetings' in an exhibition consisting of film, objects, text and diagrams. The work gives presence to conversation and research; by delaying a final product, forming an unfinished space and presenting a group of âthings', a sense of curiosity remains.
The title, 'part 1: Dances/Dancers', refers to both Blackpool's entertainment history and supercollider's former use as a dance rehearsal studio as well as the artists' exploration of sculpture and installation as choreographed social encounters.
