This year I travelled to India for 5 weeks. We visited Deli, Varanasi, Jaipur, Jodhpur, Bundi, Kerela and Goa! I was on a hunt to find a set of Indian wood blocks to use for the workshops. I have 15 blocks which I brought back home, all a range of different shapes and sizes. We will use the blocks and create repeat patterns onto paper and fabric. Once we have created a few samples, you are free to use the blocks onto your final pieces.
Refreshments. Please bring some snacks and a bottle of water to the workshop.
Prep. Bring 2 items from home to upcycle and transform. This could be an old t-shirt or pillow cover. Avoid dark colours.
