About

NEW PAINTINGS Kevin Sinnott is a contemporary Welsh artist with a truly international reputation. He trained at Cardiff College of Art & Design, Gloucestershire College of Art & Design and at the Royal College of Art, London.  Kevin’s work is collected worldwide and he is represented in many important public collections, including the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York. His large canvas, ‘Running Away with the Hairdresser’ has proved to be one of the National Museum and Galleries of Wales’ most popular acquisitions.  The exhibition features new paintings depicting Kevin’s continuing concern with the tenderness of human relationships. It promises to repeat the success of his previous exhibitions which have established him as one of Wales’ most popular and critically acclaimed artists.

THE RUGBY ETCHINGS Eurfryn Lewis was born in Tregaron and studied at Carmarthen School of Art. He completed a Fine Art degree at University of Wales Institute Cardiff. Eurfryn is primarily a printmaker but he also works in charcoal, oils and mixed media. The influence of his strong Welsh heritage is paramount and his subject matter is the Welsh people of rural Ceredigion, choirs – he sings in a choir himself, and his great passion – rugby. This exhibition consists of a series of Rugby-themed etchings and coincides with the Rugby World Cup. The work confirms Eurfryn’s skill as one of Wales’ most talented printmakers.
