About
Kerr Ashmore is a leading international abstract landscape artist from the UK. Her atmospheric landscapes are reflections of nature, memory and emotion. Her paintings and photographs are beautifully aesthetic, emotionally powerful and are held in collections worldwide.
"Growing up in North Yorkshire, so close to the Moors and the cold North Sea, I was surrounded by beauty and inspiration. I have always been so mesmerized by the dramatic and ever-changing movement of light and dark that so drastically changes the natural landscape around me and my own emotional response to it."
After many years of exhibiting in London and Europe, Kerr will be returning to her roots to exhibit her works in her home of North Yorkshire for the very first time.
Bils & Rye are delighted to have been appointed the official "Home of Kerr Ashmore" and will hold an opening event throughout August 2017 from our newly renovated premises in Kirkbymoorside, North Yorkshire.
