Artist Exhibition and Personal Appearance
About
Contemporary artist Kealey Farmer will be exhibiting and making a personal appearance at Montague’s Gallery on 1st October 2015 from 7 - 9pm.
On the evening the artist will unveil her latest collection of three dimensional contemporary art with added sparkle and shine. Tree pieces have been amongst Kealey’s most popular series and she will be showcasing brand new artworks in this theme which have been created especially for the exhibition.
Having volunteered with the charity Mind for two years focusing on art therapy, colour plays an important role in the art of Kealey Farmer. Conveying what we feel rather than what we see, her pieces have a poignant dimension to them that shimmers with iridescent Swarovski crystals.
Kealey’s art has evolved from her early abstract works to incorporate 3D elements on a raised and reflected surface. With artworks hinting at emotions and romanticism through strong evocative colours and adorned with handcrafted hearts and leafs; the ambiguous nature of her work allows us to project our own sentimentality onto each artwork.
Meet Kealey Farmer over fizz and canapes at Montague’s Gallery on Thursday 1st October 7 – 9pm and view her latest contemporary art collection.
