GXgallery is proud to announce a sumptuous exhibition of Frescos by Katherine Cuthbert. Following an inspirational trip to Sardinia, Katherine became fascinated by the age old technique of Fresco. Harnessing and exploring the ancient style Katherine uses it in a contemporary context with astonishing results. The painstaking preparation of using materials such as lime putty, marble dust and ground pigments, produces subtle yet beautiful tones. Katherine captures the quiet and still moments of everyday life in a breathtaking exhibition.
