About
Castlefield Gallery presents Karin Kihlberg and Reuben Henry's first collaborative solo show in the UK. The exhibition will include work produced between 2003 and 2007 mainly from the artists joint practice and also a new piece that will be filmed as part of a live performance in the gallery space.This new piece characterises much of the way that Kihlberg and Henry work. The performances and processes are developed with built-in mechanisms for recording the event and re-presenting it at a later date. The re-presentation of their work is a central thread which runs through much of the work in the show, and several pieces will be exhibited for the first time in this format.
