Karen’s work is influenced by the natural forms found along the shore. You’ll be taking similar sources to inspire your pendant and to explore mark-making in metal. Feel free to bring your own treasure along - seed cases, leaves or beach finds or use something from the collection.

Initially you’ll experiment using copper and explore a variety of texturing techniques. You’ll then develop your design in silver; with lots of hammering, followed by some sawing at the bench and silver soldering to complete your pendant.'
