40 International artists explore the theme of 'jungle' in this diverse and exciting online-only exhibition
About
This exhibition showcases artists working separately in multiple countries: their work is now brought together online in an engaging and thought provoking show interpreting the theme 'jungle'. Works on view explore the human impact on jungles, camoflauge, urban or natural jungles and beyond. Metaphorical and literal intepretations of the theme are woven within the works on view, encourating interpretation and exploration. Intended to provide a widely accessible show internationally, regardless of the state of IRL shows in any given country, this is exclusively an online exhibition.
This exhibition has been curated by James Stewart in Devon, England and Kate Trafeli, in London; exhibiting artists were selected by the curators from a strong base of over 600 international submissions received in response to the open call request by @katmapped in early Spring 2021.
