About
Juliette Losq makes large-scale watercolours and installations that reference the spaces between spaces: liminal areas of the city, neglected byways and fading interiors. For DOLPH, Losq will create an intimate interior space to house the inspirations for her practice, the ephemera and objects that feed her paintings and drawings.
Combining her own photographic documentation of the landscape with her collection of eighteenth-century Rococo prints, nineteenth-century Penny Dreadfuls, scrapbooks, Victorian and Edwardian furniture, Losq will create an environment that both encapsulates the subject as well as the sources of her work.
