About

The exhibition includes very intimate miniature portraits of the artist's father in hospital shortly before his death in 2016. Also featured is a small selection of Julie's small and private street scenes made on location.

Julie studied at Camberwell College of Arts and the Royal Academy Schools, London and is now senior faculty of The Royal Drawing School. 

Exhibitions include: The Royal Academy Summer Exhibition, The London Group, The Jerwood Drawing Prize, The Threadneedle Prize, Flowers Central, BP Portriat Prize (The National Portrait Gallery) and The Barbican, London, as well as solo shows in Prague, Leipzig and Hamburg.

Her work is held in a number of public collections, including Nuffield College, Oxford, New Hall, Cambridge, The Open University, and the Ben Uri Art Museum collection.

Julie is an elected member of the London Group and NEAC, as well as the RWS.
