AboutThis exhibition combines the work of the two photographers Julia and Simon in the lead up to their wedding at Anteros. They use innovative photographic methods to explore aspects of ancestry by Julia and fruitfulness by Simon. Both artists have been working on separate projects that will draw together for this exhibition. Julia’s is a reflection on the passing of generations, time and family history and Simon’s is an
expression of the hope projected into the future by the fruits of the past and seeds of the future. Julia has a Masters Degree in Public Art from Chelsea College of Art and Design, however Simon isn’t from an Art School background. His artistic ideas are rooted in the practical skills of his previous career in furniture making, with its practical disciplines and long history of artistic development.
