Pull up a seat inside Migration Museum’s replica refugee shelter... Home to an inspiring collection of books that explore the experiences of refugees and asylum seekers.
Flick through award winning novels, beautifully illustrated children’s books, and collections of short stories and poems. Suitable for all ages.

Rekrei makes cultural artefacts in virtual reality using crowd-sourced imagery. Created in response to the destruction of Mosul Cultural Museum by Daesh (ISIS), Rekrei is at the forefront of virtual reality technology. Explore the museum in a virtual world and witness the digital preservation of cultural heritage.

Step into the shelter and be immersed into the story of Aamir, a 22 year-old man escaping the threat of murder in Sudan. HOME | AAMIR is a virtual reality lm produced from Aamir’s personal experiences, exploring the tragic phenomenon of displacement that has become personal to so many around the world.
The film is a collaboration between the National Theatre, Surround Vision, and Room One.
