Gail Seres-Woolfson shares her journey exploring abstraction and the urban landscape with this solo exhibition in her home neighbourhood bringing together a selection of her paintings from the past 7 years.
About
Dancing smog engulfing geometric structures; disruptions of colour amidst midnight blue, brick brown and concrete grey; chimneys, railings, shadows and streetlights set against abstracted shapes and colliding planes. Seres-Woolfson combines drawing and painting with mixed-media collage to play with architectural compositions layered with connections and contradictions.
Gail was included in the top-ten shortlist for the inaugural Evening Standard Contemporary Art Prize and her work currently features in this year's Trinity Buoy Wharf Drawing Prize Exhibition touring the UK.
