Come and join East Street Arts (ESA) for Journey, a special social event that will open up ESA's Patrick and Beaver Studios giving audiences the opportunity to navigate the buildings to engage in artists' work and participate in the launch of new activities and the culmination of past projects.

NOT TO BE MISSED highlights include...........

GO-SEE-BUY: ESA studio artists at Patrick and Beaver* studios open their spaces for you to view artwork and engage in discussion.

ESA Membership Launch: 'Check-in' to ESA membership. Membership benefits includes for artists, access to ESA facilities and resources and for non-artists, special events and networking opportunities. The first 30 new members receive a free work of art and all members who join during Journey receive a substantial discount on membership and a free Social Club publication!

Departure Lounge: Patrick Studios' Project Space will be showing artists' work that explores cities and especially artists' responses to the specific cities of Leeds and Berlin. Exhibitors: Katy Devine, Matthew Walters, Sarah Warden, Ilana Mitchell and DOGOSEE.

RouteMap: Encounter artists' work from the Routemappers project, an 8 month professional development programme presented throughout the public and private spaces of Patrick Studios. Join four of the Routemap artists at the Routemappers' Cafe and pick up a free Routemap publication.

Social Club: Social Club publication No.2 launched including commissioned work by Laura Tait exploring socially engaged art. Relax with refreshments provided at the Social Club bar and chill out to the sounds of the Socialist Jukebox.*

Also launched will be Digital Lounge the new film and digital touring strand of Social Club. For Journey, Digital Lounge will examine the internet based virtual world Second Life at the offsite location of Old Broadcasting House (Friday 9 May, 2-4pm only. BOOKING REQUIRED - LIMITED SPACES.)
