About
New neighbours move in next door. You are curious, anxious. Who are they? Where do they come from? Should you meet them?
New Neighbours is both the title of the exhibition, (Jost Münster’s second solo show at Tintype) and of his new group of paintings. Making new work, particularly a series, is an arrival and a statement of intent. As the series grows, the paintings become neighbours to each other, their visual impact changing with proximity; relationships and links formed as they are placed.
