This is one of the most powerful art works of the twentieth century" (Caroline Tisdall)"

About

In May 1974, at Rene Block Gallery, New York, German artist Joseph Beuys (1929-86) spent one week (days and nights) in a cage with a wild coyote. Caroline Tisdall, collaborator and friend of Beuys, was present, watching from outside the cage. With these photographs she has created a vivid document of the work. Also includes work by: James Croak, Pepe Heykoop, Jeff McMillan, Jeremy Millar and Helen Mirra.
