During the exhibition The Maurice Einhardt Neu Gallery sets up a 'Shebeen' (Juke joint, Speakeasy) at the âKwaZulu-Natal' Exhibition selling âJJ umqom- bothi' and providing patrons with a place to meet and discuss political and social issues unifying the community and providing a safe place for discussion.
His work is characterised by short performances adequate to changes that the space experiences constantly. No performance is ever repeated and every experience is entirely unique to each space.
