About
Although a solicitor by profession, John Wood has always enjoyed ‘doodling’ and about twenty years ago he decided to enrol for two art classes, one drawing and the other painting. He was immediately hooked on standing before an easel creating work.
John has spent hundreds of hours and hundreds of pounds under the tutelage of those at Central St Martin’s School of Art and The Royal Drawing School and using various media - charcoal, ink, graphite, pastel, watercolour, acrylic paint and eventually oils - he paints what inspires him. This inspiration can come from anywhere and results in a variety of images, as demonstrated by his ability to tackle any genre. Once this inspiration is captured on canvas he rapidly moves onto the next subject and So it goes . . .John would now like to share the results with you.
