Spend time sketching outside before working from the sketch back at the gallery
About
Pastel is a vibrant and responsive medium, ideally suited to quick responsive sketches, or longer more considered works. The workshop will begin with a demonstration using pastel over a water-based under-painting on mount board. Participants can then work individually from their own reference material, or some may wish to spend a little time sketching outside before working from the sketch back at the gallery. Individual advice will be given throughout the day. At the end of the session, we will review some of the work done during the day.
