About
hn Swannell is one of the most highly respected British Photographers of our time. He has photographed everyone from Princess Diana and her two children, HM The Queen for her 50th Jubilee and HM Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother for her 100th Birthday commerative stamp, to Sir Elton John, Dame Judi Dench, Will Young and King Hussein of Jordan.His work has been exhibited all over the world and many national galleries have his work in their permanent collections, including the V&A and the National Portrait Gallery in London, and the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
His latest exhibition, 'nudes', is a stunning collection of photographs taken between 1978 and 2006. This series of 23 limited edition platinum prints exquisitely captures the feminine side of his subjects, whether photographed on location in the wilds of Scotland, in the desert of Utah, or just beautifully lit in his London studio.
