Knight is an artist who critically examines the underlying institutional framework of museums and galleries. For the Skulptur Projekte 2017 he has installed a large water level at the northern tip of the new museum building.
About
It is only when the work is in situ, in conjunction with the architecture, that it attains its final form. By inscribing his initials on it, the artist also draws attention to the artwork as a trademark.
