« We needed it ! Paris was grey and life in the city was killing us day after day... Maud quit her job in April and a few weeks later we landed in Montreal with our cameras, ready to make the dream come true. We found « Joe », a rusty van, the third character in our adventure.

About

Théo Gosselin & Maud Chalard drove across America ; from Quebec to Los Angeles. New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Kentucky, Tennessee, Arkansas, Texas, New Mexico, Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, Idaho, Washington, Oregon, California, Nevada, Arizona and Utah...From East to West, life without limits or barriers. Three months of pure freedom. A journey across the US through two lovers’ eyes.

In love with the US since a young teen, Theo started traveling across the US in 2010 and photographed the journey and all the people he met along the way. Trying to hit the american road two or three time every year to capture the intimacy of a nomadic life with his friends.
 
For the past three years, Maud and Theo have been exploring the world and taking photos together, capturing a different kind of love on the road. Maud’s work is full of life and love, she captures intimacy of lovers as well as the overall beauty of love.

Jules & Jim Hotel welcomes visitors into an artistic journey. Its 15 meters long photo gallery extend to the landscaped backyard. The Jules & Jim Gallery is a unique space which extends the exposure of
carefully selected work from some of the most prestigious photo galleries in Paris.
