Jiri Straka - Eco-Ink

Jiri Straka is contemporary independent artist, who focuses on modern ink painting with apparent influence of t Far Eastern Old  techniques. The artist usually works with monochrome ink painting, sometimes in monumental formats, and he does not avoid “living painting”, combining modern art with the tradition of classic Chinese painting. Straka lives and creates in Prague and Beijing together with his Chinese wife A Qin.  His works have been exhibited in prestigious galleries, such as the 798 Art district in Beijing or the Today Art Museum. As for the local example, his works were presented in Rudolfinum Gallery, Museum Kampa and many others.
