About
Oriel Wrecsam are bringing the dance performance JINX 103 to the streets of Wrexham on Saturday 11th April. Appearing on Hope Street at 11am and Chester Street at 2pm, the partnership with Migrations brings a performance that has travelled all over the world including Lebanon, Mexico, Cuba, Italy and South Africa.
Enjoyed by thousands of people and performed over 50 times globally, the performance by Compagnie József Trefeli creates an energetic dance of lightning fast footwork, leg twisting and weaving, high kicks and turning jumps. JINX 103 is a collaborative dance piece performed by two dancers József Trefeli and Gyula Cserepes who mix up rhythms and rituals with contemporary dance and body percussion to create a musical dance delight.

Oriel Wrecsam Director Steffan Jones-Hughes said "It's fantastic to be bringing such a high quality performance to Wrexham. It's happening at an exciting time for us with our move to new premises on Chester Street in April. I'm really looking forward to the performer's energetic presence on the streets of Wrexham and hope it will inspire everyone to enjoy more performances in the future!"
Director of Migrations Karine Decorne said "We've been working with the Jinx 103 artists for a while and are delighted to be working with Oriel Wrecsam and Wrexham County Borough Council to bring Jinx 103 here, and it's fantastic to be able to offer the performance for free to the general public."
The event is free, everyone welcome.
